NOVELTY - Photocatalyst plate comprises a visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle for hydrogen generation, a visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle for oxygen generation, a photocatalyst particle structure containing a carbon fine powder, and an organic material base, where the primary particle diameter of visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle for hydrogen generation and visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle for oxygen generation is 0.05-50 mu m, and the content ratio of carbon fine powder is 0.1-30 wt.% based on visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle for oxygen generation. USE - The photocatalyst plate is useful in a photocatalyst particle structure (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The photocatalyst plate efficiently exhibits water splitting activity under visible light irradiation on resin base material, is excellent in economy, light weight, and flexibility, is robust, transportable, and storable, ensures excellent processability, increases the area of hydrogen production equipment in promotion of energy systems that solve environmental problems, improves the performance using pressurizing step together, has visible light responsive water resolution, can exhibit high performance without impairing its potential even it is a metal sulfide photocatalyst with high light responsiveness in a wide visible light region, and has characteristics that can be easily applied to continuous processes such as roll-to-roll. The photocatalytic particle structure exhibits the high water decomposition reaction efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a photocatalyst particle structure comprising visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle for hydrogen generation, visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle for oxygen generation, and photocatalyst particle structure comprising carbon fine powder visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle for hydrogen generation is 1.1-50 mu m; (2) a method for producing the photocatalyst particle structure, involving contacting visible light-responsive photocatalyst particles for hydrogen production, the visible light-responsive photocatalyst particles for oxygen production and carbon fine powder with each other and pressing the resulting product; and (3) a method for producing the photocatalyst plate, involving contacting hydrogen-producing visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle, hydrogen-producing visible light-responsive photocatalyst particle, carbon fine powder and base with each other and pressing the resulting product.
