NOVELTY - Carbon film coating process for fuel cell plate, comprises (a) selecting stainless steel as the base material for mechanical grinding, and performing ultrasonic vibration cleaning with organic solvents; (b) adding cyclohexanone octahydrate and 3,4-diaminophenol into acetic acid, mixing uniformly and passing inert gas, heating under an inert atmosphere, refluxing, and stirring to obtain a mixed solution after the reaction, adding graphite powder into concentrated sulfuric acid cooled to 0℃, stirring, adding potassium permanganate in batches, placing in an ice-water bath, stirring, heating, stopping stirring, adding distilled water and hydrogen peroxide, filtering while hot until the mixture turns from dark brown to bright yellow, washing with dilute hydrochloric acid, and rinsing with distilled water, and peeling off by ultrasound to obtain a graphene oxide solution, adding chloroacetic acid and sodium hydroxide into graphene oxide solution. USE - The process is useful for coating fuel cell plate, where the fuel cell is a power generating device which directly converts the fuel into electric energy by electrochemical reaction, which has great significance for solving the energy crisis and environmental pollution. ADVANTAGE - The method provides the fuel cell plate with small contact resistance and current density and good hydrophobic property, and the carbon layer and the base material have good bonding force.
