▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A nitrate-reduction method involves performing reductive reaction to nitrate ion and/or nitrite ion in presence of carbonaceous material containing graphite, graphene and amorphous carbon. USE - Nitrate-reduction method used for water treatment and electric power generation. ADVANTAGE - The nitrate reduction reaction is efficiently performed without using noble metal catalyst e.g. platinum. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) nitrate-reduction catalyst, which contains carbonaceous material containing graphite, graphene and amorphous carbon; (2) nitrate-reduction electrode; (3) water treatment apparatus (1), which has container (12) in which the aqueous solution containing nitrate ion, and anode (13) and cathode (14) positioned in the container. The cathode is nitrate-reduction electrode; and (4) fuel cell. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the water treatment apparatus.
