NOVELTY - Fluorinated graphene/sulfur composite material is made of fluorinated graphene and sulfur as raw materials, and the high-temperature roasting method is used to prepare the fluorinated graphene/sulfur composite material. USE - Used as fluorinated graphene/sulfur composite material. ADVANTAGE - The material: increases the number of cycles; has small degree of capacity attenuation; improves indicating that its cycle performance; has simple and feasible process; and is easy to operate, and universal. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMs are also included for: (1) battery separator; (2) preparing a battery separator comprising (a) mixing the fluorinated graphene/sulfur composite material with the solvent to obtain a slurry and (b) coating the slurry on at least one surface of the base layer and drying to obtain a fluorinated graphene/sulfur composite material layer is battery separator; and (3) lithium ion battery comprising above battery separator.
