NOVELTY - Modified carbon fiber obtained by modifying aminated graphene oxide on the surface of carbon fiber by electrophoretic deposition, is claimed. USE - The carbon fiber and composite material is useful for manufacturing transportation equipment, sports equipment, aerospace equipment or national defense and military products (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material, the modified carbon fiber and the resin matrix: have better bonding performance; make its interlaminar shear strength, glass transition temperature and storage modulus higher; and have a good application prospect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the modified carbon fiber, comprising (a) making the aminated graphene oxide into a suspension, and (b) using the carbon fiber as a cathode, electrophoretic deposition is performed in the suspension of the step (a) to obtain the modified carbon fiber; (2) carbon fiber/aminated graphene oxide/resin composite material, obtained by mixing the modified carbon fiber and a resin matrix, where the resin matrix is a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin; and (3) preparing the carbon fiber/aminated graphene oxide/resin composite material, comprising mixing the resin matrix and the curing agent, fully infiltrating the modified carbon fiber, and curing the resin matrix.
