NOVELTY - A graphene micro sheet-epoxy resin nanocomposite material is prepared by dispersing graphene micro sheet in organic solvent, placing in sonicator placed in water bath, sonicating, molding, stirring using magnetic stirrer, adding in epoxy resin, sonicating, heating to boiling temperature of solvent using oil bath, stirring, evaporating solvent, heating in vacuum oven to remove residual solvent, cooling to room temperature, adding curing agent, stirring, heating in vacuum oven at reduced pressure, molding, and curing in oven. USE - Preparation of graphene micro sheet-epoxy resin nanocomposite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Preparation of nanocomposite material improves heat resistance and flame-retarding property of epoxy resin. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene micro sheet-epoxy resin nanocomposite material is prepared by dispersing graphene micro sheet in organic solvent to form suspension, placing in sonicator placed in water bath, sonicating at 250 W for 1.5 hours, molding, stirring using magnetic stirrer, adding in epoxy resin, sonicating at greater than or equal to 250 W for 1.5 hours, heating to boiling temperature of solvent using oil bath, stirring for 5-15 hours, evaporating solvent, heating in vacuum oven for 2 hours to remove residual solvent, cooling to room temperature, adding curing agent, stirring for 0.5 hour, heating in vacuum oven at reduced pressure for 1 hour, molding, and curing in oven at 50 degrees C for 5-10 hours, preferably 110 degrees C for 2-5 hours.
