NOVELTY - A modified magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent comprises a magnetic graphene oxide formed by combining graphene oxide and ferroferric oxide magnetic particles as a plate structure, and surface grafting with a benzene ring-containing organic polymerizable monomer. USE - Modified magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent is used for removing organic pollutant e.g. tylosin and norfloxacin from water (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent has excellent recyclability, and can be prepared by simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of modified magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent, which involves mixing ferric ion and divalent iron ion with graphene oxide, adding an aqueous solution of benzene ring-containing organic polymerizable monomer, reacting and washing.
