NOVELTY - Preparation of load type bismuth molybdenum oxide (Bi2MoO6)/copper hydroxide (Cu(OH)2)/graphene photocatalyst includes under stirring condition, adding bismuth nitrate pentahydrate and sodium molybdate dihydrate into deionized water to form mixed solution of bismuth nitrate and sodium molybdate, stirring at room temperature, transferring into a hydrothermal reaction kettle, placing in microwave digestion apparatus, conducting microwave reaction, cooling, washing, drying to obtain Bi2MoO6 nanopowder, preparing copper nitrate solution, and adding sodium hydroxide under stirring condition. USE - Preparation of load type Bi2MoO6/Cu(OH)2/graphene photocatalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides load type Bi2MoO6/Cu(OH)2/graphene photocatalyst, which is environmentally friendly and has high electron conductivity, uses inexpensive Cu(OH)2 and graphene loaded on Bi2MoO6 surface as cocatalyst to promote charge carrier migration from Bi2MoO6 to Cu(OH)2 and inhibit electron and hole recombination, enables graphene to facilitate electronic transmission so that more electrons participate in hydrogen production, improving the catalytic activity of Bi2MoO6 and the photocatalytic decomposition of water into hydrogen, and is suitable for industrial implementation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of load type Bi2MoO6/Cu(OH)2/graphene photocatalyst comprises under stirring condition, adding bismuth nitrate pentahydrate and sodium molybdate dihydrate at 2:1 mol ratio into deionized water to form mixed solution of bismuth nitrate and sodium molybdate, stirring for 2 hours at room temperature, transferring into a hydrothermal reaction kettle, placing in microwave digestion apparatus, conducting 120 degrees C microwave reaction for 5-30 minutes, cooling, washing, drying to obtain Bi2MoO6 nanopowder, preparing copper nitrate solution, adding sodium hydroxide under stirring condition, adding graphene and Bi2MoO6 nanopowder to obtain a mixed solution, where mol ratio of sodium hydroxide and copper nitrate is 1:0.5, the mol ratio of Bi2MoO6 nanopowder and copper nitrate is 1:0.005-0.015, and the mass ratio of graphene and Bi2MoO6 nanopowder is 0.03-0.15:1, stirring the obtained mixed solution, reacting for 6 hours at room temperature, filtering and drying to obtain high catalytic activity load type Bi2MoO6/Cu(OH)2/graphene photocatalyst.
