NOVELTY - The method involves providing graphene layer that is mounted on first substrate. The metal layer is applied to the graphene layer to form a metalized graphene layer. The metalized graphene layer is exfoliated from the first substrate. The metalized graphene layer is laminated to a second substrate. The first substrate has copper, nickel, or alloy. USE - Method of manufacturing graphene layer on substrate. ADVANTAGE - The method is used for generating versatile material. The method has low cost, flexibility and easy handling. The adhesive thermal release tape is applied using a specific machine to apply controlled pressure and speed that avoids the formation of bubbles between the metal layer and the adhesive tape and avoids the need to apply the tape by hand. The automated process reduces the occurrence of cracking. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of transferring a graphene layer to a flexible substrate. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows the schematic view of the metal assisted exfoliation process for large-area transfer of single-layer graphene from catalytic copper substrates to flexible sheets comprising preferential adhesion of a metal layer to graphene, exfoliation of the metallized graphene and lamination is mediated by tape with a thermally deactivated adhesive.
