NOVELTY - A capacitance deionizing device comprises device main body and electrode set on device main body. The electrode has hierarchical hydrophobic and hydrophilic structure comprising at least one of first mode and second mode. For first mode, the electrode has electrode material comprising porous composite material. The porous composite material comprises hydrophilic porous carbon and hydrophobic layer present on surface of hydrophilic porous carbon. For second mode, the electrode has electrode material comprising hydrophilic porous carbon layer formed by hydrophilic porous carbon and hydrophobic layer located on surface of hydrophilic porous carbon layer. The hydrophobic layer comprises hydrophobic conductive polymer layer formed by hydrophobic conductive polymer and/or hydrophobic modified metal composite layer. USE - The device is used for synchronous removal of salt and degrading organic matter based on hierarchical hydrophobic/hydrophilic electrode. ADVANTAGE - The device can synchronously and efficiently remove salt component and organic substance in waste water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for synchronous removal of salt and degrading organic matter based on hierarchical hydrophobic/hydrophilic electrode.
