NOVELTY - Cellulose nanofiber/dopamine reduced graphene oxide reinforced starch film comprises 1-6 pts. wt. starch, 0.5-3 pts. wt. polyvinyl alcohol, 0.3-1.8 pts. wt. plasticizer, 0.01-0.06 pts. wt. cellulose nanofibers, and 0.01-0.06 pts. wt. dopamine reduction graphene oxide. USE - The cellulose nanofiber/dopamine reduced graphene oxide reinforced starch film is useful in fresh-keeping packaging, and food packaging. ADVANTAGE - The cellulose nanofiber/dopamine reduced graphene oxide reinforced starch film: is non toxic; and has high strength and excellent water and gas blocking capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing cellulose nanofiber/dopamine reduced graphene oxide reinforced starch film comprising (i) adding 0.2 pts. wt. dopamine, 0.12 pts. wt. trishydroxymethylaminomethane, 99.68 pts. wt. water, 0.2 pts. wt. graphite oxide in mixed water bath, stirring, removing out, washing with distilled water until the pH of the filtrate is 7, (ii) ultrasonically dispersing 0.01-0.06 pts. wt. cellulose nanofibers, 0.01-0.06 pts. wt. dopamine-reduced graphene oxide, and 99.88-99.98 pts. wt. water into suspension, adding 0.5-3 pts. wt. polyvinyl alcohol with water, stirring in water bath to prepare 5% aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol, mixing 1-6 pts. wt. starch, 0.3-1.8 pts. wt. plasticizer and 92.2-98.7 pts. wt. water under water bath, stirring and gelatinizing to obtain starch paste, (iii) mixing suspension obtained in the step (ii), aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol and starch paste and stirring to obtain film forming liquid, (iv) pouring film-forming liquid onto a film former and casting to form film.
