NOVELTY - Use of ordered conjugated polymer material in protecting zinc cathode, the ordered conjugated polymer material is coated on the surface of zinc cathode of aqueous zinc ion battery; coating thickness of the ordered conjugated polymer material is 5 nm to 10 µm, is claimed. USE - The ordered conjugated polymer material is useful in protecting zinc cathode. ADVANTAGE - The ordered conjugated polymer material: can avoids the zinc dendrite problem caused by direct use of metal zinc as the cathode material, actively improves the specific capacity, cycle stability and rate performance of the battery, extendes the service life of the water system zinc ion battery, and expands use range of the water system zinc ion battery.
