NOVELTY - The attenuating method involves mixing of 10-120 mass portion of graphene and carbon nanotube with respect to 100 mass portion of elastomer to form a radiation attenuation material (50a). The formed radiation attenuation material is dispersed in ground surface (2) of soil (1) that is contaminated by radiation (R). USE - Attenuating method of radiation dose from soil using a radiation attenuation material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - A radiation attenuation material is lightweight and is easy to handle. Radioactive substance is prevented from precipitating to underground, and shielding and damping effect of radiation is maintained over a long period of time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a radiation attenuation material; and (2) a manufacturing method of radiation attenuation material.
