NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene composite fiber involves preparing a base solution comprising graphene oxide, providing a functional material for base solution to prepare a composite solution, spinning the composite solution into a coagulation solution to prepare a base fiber comprising a graphene oxide and a functional material, and reducing the graphene oxide in the base fiber to produce a composite fiber comprising a graphene sheet and a functional material. USE - Manufacture of graphene composite fibers (claimed). Uses include but are not limited to electric wire, electromagnetic shielding filler, display, anode material of lithium-ion battery, electrode material of electric double layer capacitor, environmental filter, and biomaterial. ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of graphene composite fibers with excellent attractive force between graphene sheets, and electrical conductivity, strength, elongation, and modulus.
