NOVELTY - Forming graphene oxide sheet involves taking natural crystalline flake graphite and concentrated nitric acid or mixed acid of nitric acid and sulfuric acid, adding hydrogen peroxide, reacting, washing with water, drying to obtain layered graphite, treating with strong acid, adding strong oxidant, subjecting to ultrasonic assistant oxidation reaction, adding deionized water, subjecting to ultrasonic auxiliary stirring and reacting for 10 to 30 minutes, washing with diluted hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide mixed solution and with deionized water, centrifuging and separating. USE - For production of graphene oxide sheet (claimed) used in electronic equipment, energy sector, biology, medicine and so on fields. ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation, high efficiency, causes no environmental pollution, has high graphene oxide stripping degree and provides product having large specific surface area. The sheet has excellent conductivity and mechanical and electrochemical performance and so on. The method exhibits improved production efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Production of graphene oxide sheet involves taking natural crystalline flake graphite and concentrated nitric acid or mixed acid of nitric acid and sulfuric acid in a reactor, adding hydrogen peroxide from the bottom of the reactor, stirring and reacting for 10-60 minutes, washing with water, and drying to obtain the layered graphite, treating the layered graphite with strong acid, slowly adding strong oxidant, after mixing evenly, subjecting to ultrasonic assistant oxidation reaction in ice water bath for 30-60 minutes, heating the reaction mixture to 50-60 degrees C and continuously stirring for 6-12 hours, and then adding deionized water, subjecting to ultrasonic auxiliary stirring and reacting for 10 to 30 minutes, washing the product with diluted hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide mixed solution and then washing using deionized water, centrifuging and separating to obtain graphene oxide sheet.
