▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Electrode material comprises a core-shell type electrode material comprising sulfur particles as a core, and graphene quantum dot and carbon black particles as a shell. USE - The electrode material is useful as cathode active material of battery i.e. lithium-sulfur battery (all claimed) for portable devices, biomedical implants, and electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The electrode material provides lithium ion batteries having high energy and voltage densities, and lithium-sulfur battery having improved performance, electrical conductivity and stability, improves electrochemical kinetics of the lithium-sulfur battery, enables rapid charge transfer by minimizing irreversible loss of higher polysulfide, describes mechanisms for excellent cycling and charge/discharge rate performance by analyzing the voltage versus voltage profile, increases capacity and lifetime of the battery, and solves polysulfide-shuttle phenomenon of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) battery comprising the electrode material as cathode active material; (2) preparing electrode material comprising mixing sulfur, graphene quantum dots, and carbon black in liquid phase using a surfactant to produce core-shell type electrode material; and (3) producing battery, comprising (a) dispersing sulfur, graphene quantum dots, carbon black, and binder in a solvent to prepare a slurry, and (b) applying the slurry on a substrate, where the battery includes a cathode, an anode, a separator, and an electrolyte.
