NOVELTY - The LED has a zinc oxide nano-wire (3) fixed on a graphene layer (2) for forming a hetero-junction. A terminal of an insulation substrate (1) is connected with a light diode part that is provided with a first electrode (4) and a second electrode (5). The first electrode is fixed on the graphene layer. The second electrode is covered with the zinc oxide nano-wire cover whose end is connected with the insulation substrate. The insulation substrate comprises insulation layers, a semiconductor and an insulator. USE - Graphene/zinc oxide hetero-junction LED. ADVANTAGE - The LED is inexpensive and simple to operate, and has high light-emitting efficiency and wide application range. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a graphene/zinc oxide hetero-junction LED manufacturing method.
