NOVELTY - A fluorinated graphene-coated lithium-manganese-cobalt cathode material preparing method involves preparing active substrate. Fluorinated graphene oxide polymer is prepared by adding fluorinated graphite oxide elements in dispersing agent, filtered, washed and dried to obtain the fluorinated graphene oxide/polymer composite. The composite is added with deionized water, followed by adding active substrate, stirring, incubating, washing, centrifuging, transferring precipitate to stainless steel reactor at 50-75 degrees C for 6-10 hours to obtain the finished product. USE - Method for preparing fluorinated graphene-coated lithium-manganese-cobalt cathode material for use in lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The cathode material has high temperature applications, high capacity and long service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A fluorinated graphene-coated lithium-manganese-cobalt cathode material preparing method involves preparing active substrate by mixing manganese sulfate and cobalt sulfate to obtain mixed solution. The mixed solution is added with 1.5-2 mol/l metal ions, 3-4 mol/l sodium hydroxide, and 0.5-1 mol/l aqueous ammonia solution and mixed to obtain mixed alkali solution. The mixed solution and mixed alkali solution are mixed into a reactor at 50-60 degrees C under protection of nitrogen or inert gas with a pH control of 11-13, filtered and washed until pH value reaches to 7.5, dried at 10-5-110 degrees C to obtain manganese cobalt hydroxide precursor. The manganese cobalt hydroxide precursor is mixed with lithium carbonate, incubated at 900-1000 degrees C for 10-12 hours, cooled at room temperature, crushed and sieved to prepare active substance. Fluorinated graphene oxide polymer is prepared by adding fluorinated graphite oxide elements in dispersing agent and dispersed ultrasonically to obtain a suspension. The suspension is added with potassium permanganate and dispersed ultrasonically to obtain mixed liquid. The mixed liquid is added with fluorinated graphite and potassium permanganate under stirring, added with 3-(4-fluorophenyl) thiophene and stirred to give a product mixture. The product mixture is filtered, washed, and dried under vacuum to obtain the fluorinated graphene oxide/polymer composite. The fluorinated graphene oxide/polymer composite is added with 1-1.5 g/l deionized water, followed by adding active substrate, stirring, incubating at150-170 degrees C for 10-12 hours, washing with deionized water and absolute ethanol, centrifuging, transferring precipitate to stainless steel reactor at 50-75 degrees C for 6-10 hours to obtain the finished product, where the chemical formula of active substance is lithium-manganese-cobalt-magnesium-oxide (LiMn1-x-yCoxMgyO2), x is 0.25-0.30, y is 0.05-0.1 and the fluorinated graphite oxide element comprises 55-65% carbon, 5-15% fluorine and 20-40% oxide.
