NOVELTY - A graphitic structure having an arrangement of AB stacked structure is oxidized, and the oxidized structure is subjected to microwave irradiation. The graphene layer combination consisting of several unit layers obtained after irradiation, is subjected to supersonic treatment, to obtain a graphene sheet. The oxidation process is carried out by immersing the graphitic structure in hydrogen peroxide and processing with ultrasonic waves. USE - Manufacture of graphene sheet. ADVANTAGE - The method enables environmental-friendly, large-scale manufacture of graphene sheets.
