NOVELTY - A cuprous oxide/graphene oxide visible light catalyst is prepared by taking commercial graphite, potassium permanganate and concentrated sulfuric acid, mixing, reacting, cooling, adding water, stirring, adding hydrogen peroxide, stirring, separating solid, washing solid product, freeze drying to obtain graphene oxide, taking hydrated copper acetate, dissolving in deionized water, adding graphene oxide, stirring, adding sodium hydroxide solution, centrifuging, adding sugar compound solution, stirring, carrying out hydrothermal reaction, taking solid product, washing, and drying. USE - Method for preparing cuprous oxide/graphene oxide visible light catalyst used for organic wastewater treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has electronic capture good transmission performance, has reduced cuprous oxide photogenerated electron recombination rate and has high photocatalytic efficiency.
