NOVELTY - Preparing palladium/reduced graphene oxide/graphite particle complex electrode comprises (1) cleaning graphite particles with hydrochloric acid, washing with water, carrying out ultrasonic treatment to the graphene oxide solution, soaking graphite particles into the graphene oxide solution, continuously performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain graphene oxide/graphite particle electrode, (2) adopting electrochemical reduction mode to prepare reduced graphene oxide/graphite particle electrode, adopting electrochemical reduction mode to load palladium particles on the reduced-oxidation graphene/graphite particle electrode to obtain reduced graphene oxide/graphite particle complex electrode loaded with palladium, and (4) washing the electrode surface with clean water, and performing vacuum drying to obtain electrode product. USE - The electrode is useful for removing halogenated phenol and phenolic pollutant in water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode: stimulates dehalogenation and respiratory bacteria metabolism; improves microbial activity; and achieves fast dehalogenating and mineralizing the pollutant. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for removing halogenated phenol and phenolic pollutant in water.
