▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Production of metal oxide/graphene oxide nanocomposite comprises adding metal oxide solution to graphene oxide solution; stirring the mixture and adding cationic surfactant, stabilizer and/or reducing agent; and microwaving the mixture at specific power, preferably 100 W. USE - Method for producing metal oxide/graphene oxide nanocomposite, particularly cobalt oxide/reduced graphene oxide or iron oxide/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite used for treating cancer by reducing viable cell count in-vitro, and inhibiting growth of cancer cells (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is environmentally friendly, simple, cost-effective and convenient to perform, and has lower cost compared with previously reported methods. The obtained nanocomposite efficiently kills human hepatocytes cancer (HepG2) cell and shows better anticancer activity and higher yield than that of low-temperature solution route.
