NOVELTY - A polyfunctional compound modified inorganic micro-nano filler is prepared by reacting inorganic micro-nano filler with a polyfunctional compound. The mass ratio of the inorganic micro-nano filler to the multifunctional compound used is 100: 0.01- 5. The polyfunctional compound is an organic compound containing a polar group. USE - The multifunctional compound modified inorganic micro-nano filler is used in polymer products (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The multifunctional compound modified inorganic micro-nano filler has improved reinforcing effect. The adsorbed inorganic micro-nano filler improves the polarity of the inorganic micro-nano filler by using the polar molecular structure of the polyfunctional compound, hence, the dispersibility of the inorganic micro-nano filler in polar and/or weakly polar polymers, is improved. The interface strength of the inorganic micro-nano filler and polymer matrix, is improved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the preparation of polyfunctional compound modified inorganic micro-nanometre filler. The method involves: 1) stirring and mixing the inorganic micro-nano filler and the multifunctional compound solution uniformly, such that the multifunctional compound is physically adsorbed on the surface of the inorganic micro-nano filler through polar groups; 2) filtering and drying the obtained compound.
