NOVELTY - Preparing graphene composite ion exchange fiber aerogel involves boiling polyacrylonitrile fiber with water 30-60 minutes and then immersing the boiled material in sodium hydroxide solution for 20-30 minutes. The immersed material is dried and then the dried material is added with complexing monomer in mass ratio of 1:2-4. The obtained material is kept in in oil bath at 80-120 degrees C for 8 hours and then the heated material is cleaned and dried in drying tank to obtain modified ion exchange fiber. The graphene dispersed in deionized water and then the modified ion exchange fiber is dispersed. USE - Method for preparing graphene composite ion exchange fiber aerogel (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene composite ion exchange fiber aerogel in simple, cost-effective and environment-friendly manner, and with fast adsorption and desorption speed.
