▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Antiviral material comprises a polymeric matrix; and graphene particles dispersed in the polymeric matrix at a concentration of greater than or equal to 0.05 wt.% to less than or equal to 10 wt.% based on the total weight of the antiviral material, where the antiviral material exhibits antiviral activity. USE - Antiviral material for destroying viruses, including coronaviruses, and decreasing risks of viral infection when contacting polymeric surfaces. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The material can be cast or molded into flexible or rigid articles that can be used wherever conventional polymeric materials are used, it has antiviral activity, used for surfaces that are often touched by human subjects. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) an interior panel of vehicle having a surface which comprises the antiviral material; (2) a class-A internal surface of an automotive vehicle which comprises the antiviral material; (3) an automotive vehicle instrument panel having a surface which comprises the antiviral material; (4) an electrical device which comprises an exterior surface having the antiviral material; (5) a counter top having a surface which comprises the antiviral material; and (6) a method for making an antiviral material, which involves combining polymer particles comprising a polymer with graphene particles and metal oxide particles, the metal oxide particles comprising cuprous oxide (Cu2O) particles, zinc oxide (ZnO) particles, or its combination and either melt compounding and extruding the polymer particles with the graphene particles to form an extruded material, or drying blending the polymer particles with the graphene particles to form a powder.
