NOVELTY - A hand-held and hand-heated thawing tool has a handling portion and a functional portion, in which one or both portions comprises a composite material comprising 1-90 wt.% conductivity-enhancing graphene phase dispersed in or bonded by 10-99 wt.% matrix material based on total composite weight. When the handling portion is held by a human hand, the handling portion transfers heat from hand to functional portion for thawing or melting a product. USE - Hand-held and hand-heated thawing tool is used for thawing and melting of butter, margarine and ice. ADVANTAGE - The hand-held and hand-heated thawing tool easily and readily cut and thaw slices of butter and margarine, without help of external heat source.
