▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A battery (100) comprises an anode (101), an electrolyte and a cathode (105). The cathode comprises an active material and a clay additive. USE - Battery e.g. lithium ion battery (claimed) for portable electronic devices. ADVANTAGE - The battery has low cost, long cycle life, high energy density, power density and improved safety due to usage of high-capacity and high-voltage cathodes, high-capacity anodes, and functionally non-flammable electrolytes having high voltage stability and interfacial compatibility with electrodes. The anode has excellent electrochemical acitivity and stable cycle life due to presence of silicon. The cathode additive improves fuel cell performance. The use of clay mineral provides chemically stable and mechanically strong interphase to enhance electrochemical stability, permits effective surface passivation of the cathode, increases cathode electrolyte interphase (CEI) robustness and structural stability of the cathodes, reduces the impedance built-up throughout cycle, reduces dissolution of transition metal ions from the cathode side, acts as a rheology additive in the electrode coating slurry and as a lithium-ion conducting additive, suppresses severe aggregation of cathode powders, and improves thermal stability.
