▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Lithium metal composite electrode comprises lithium metal layer and a polymer-based protective layer formed on the lithium metal layer. The polymer-based protective layer comprises a functional crosslinked polymer. USE - Lithium metal composite electrode for lithium metal battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The energy density of the lithium metal composite electrode is reduced due to the weight/volume of the protective film by applying a functional polymer thinly and uniformly to the lithium metal surface through a printing process. The chemical structure of the functional polymer can be controlled to make it uniform on the lithium metal surface. The lithium metal composite electrode can simultaneously conduct lithium ion conduction and impart moisture barrier properties. The shelf life of the lithium metal composite electrode is improved, side reactions on the surface of the lithium electrode after assembling the battery are suppressed so the growth of dendritic lithium is also suppressed which improves the life characteristics of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a lithium metal battery, which comprises lithium metal composite electrode; and (2) a method for manufacturing a lithium metal composite electrode, which involves preparing a protective film paste by mixing a functional crosslinked polymer monomer and a photoinitiator; applying the protective film paste on the lithium metal layer; and forming a protective film through a crosslinking reaction.
