NOVELTY - Preparation of a negative electrode material involves mixing graphene powder and iron source precursor in water to form mixed solution to obtain ferric ion attached graphene, soaking nitrogen-containing three-dimensional porous framework material in the mixed solution, ultrasonically treating, freezing and drying, and heating the porous framework material. USE - Preparation of negative electrode material for button type lithium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, easy, pollution-free, and produces negative electrode material having high conductivity, excellent stability and safety. The battery using the negative electrode material has excellent cycle performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) lithium ion battery negative electrode, which comprises the electrode material formed on composite material; and (2) button type battery.
