▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The method (200) involves providing (235) a drilling fluid through a bore of a drilling assembly. A drilling tubular is rotated (240) relative to a tubular casing. An indicator of mechanical wear and friction is measured (245) between the tubular casing and drilling tubular. A determination (250) is made that the measured indicator exceeds a predetermined threshold level. A subsequent operation is triggered (260) in response to determining that the measured indicator exceeds the predetermined threshold level. USE - Method of reducing friction and wear using graphene as lubricant of drilling equipment positioned in wellbore. ADVANTAGE - The lubricant layer is applied to the outer surface of the drill string and inner surface of the bore of the casing to reduce the amount of friction between the drill sting and the casing. The graphene can provide improved tribological properties and the application of graphene on contacting downhole surfaces can reduce friction and wear. The application of a protective graphene layer can reduce the coefficient of friction during rotary operation and reduce the sliding friction during tripping or during sliding drilling. The application of graphene can improve the wellbore integrity and the life of downhole tools/tubulars such as measurement-while-drilling tools, logging while drilling tools, stabilizer blades, connection subs, bits, teeth, rotary steerable systems, drill pipes, heavy weight drill pipes and drill collars. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a system for reducing friction of a drill string positionable in a wellbore.
