NOVELTY - Preparation of composite graphene microcapsules involves dissolving urea in formaldehyde, adjusting pH to be alkaline, and heat-stirring to obtain prepolymer, adding graphene into epoxy resin, and uniformly mixing to obtain core material, dissolving corrosion inhibitor in ultrapure water, adding core material, and uniformly mixing to obtain composite emulsion, adding prepolymer, curing agent and reaction promoter into the composite emulsion, uniformly mixing to obtain a microcapsule pre-synthesized emulsion system, heating the system, adjusting pH, and obtaining a microcapsule product, and filtering, washing, drying. USE - Preparation of composite graphene microcapsule used in steel coatings (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coating containing the microcapsules has excellent corrosion resistance, prolongs the service life of the base material and reduces the usage amount of the coating.
