▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Formation of filaments involves (a) adding carbon nanomaterials to thermoplastic polymer powder or pellets in a twin-screw extruder to form 0.5-5% m/m, preferably 1% m/m concentrated composite and (b) fractionating into pellets using shredder, (c) adding the formed product in a single screw extruder with pure thermoplastic polymers to form a product of 0.01-3% m/m, preferably 0.18% m/m, (d) cooling the formed product with water at 40-90° C, and (e) cooling the product obtained to room temperature, winding the filaments produced in atmospheric air and (f) controlling the diameter to 1.75± 0.05 mm using infrared sensor-oriented drawing system. USE - Formation of filaments used as input for three-dimensional printers used in additive manufacturing equipment (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces filaments having excellent light emission property, mechanical property and electrical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for filaments, which comprise nano composites of thermoplastic polymers, preferably poly(lactic acid) (PLA) or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and carbon nanomaterials, such as multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) functionalized with oxygenated groups or graphene oxide (GO).
