NOVELTY - Transparent conducting film comprises graphene nanoribbons of uniform length and greater than 90% purity. USE - The film is useful for device comprising solar cell, television, display, touch screen, smart window and a smart phone, coating glass substrate and plastic substrate (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The film: flexible; includes graphene nanoribbons of uniform length and greater than 90% purity; utilizes carbon nanotubes i.e. economical and improved mechanical flexibility particularly when vertically aligned; and utilizes composite materials that provide higher performance and durability (e.g. superior anti wear characteristics, improved mechanical strength, which prevent or minimize mechanical cracking of materials and mixing carbon nanotubes with coating materials and lubricants to increase lifetime of coated and/or lubricated equipment and structures.
