NOVELTY - Preparation of shell core nano-coated polybenzoxazole (PBO) fiber comprises adding nano-shell material to polyethylene acrylic ester, organic silicon polyvinyl ester emulsion or polyacrylic acid acrylonitrile emulsion to obtain nano-coating emulsion; and adding PBO fiber to the nano-coating emulsion, stirring uniformly, and reacting. USE - The method is for preparation of shell core nano-coated PBO fiber. ADVANTAGE - The method can improve UV irradiation resistance of PBO fiber, keeps excellent high-strength performance under strong sun-drying environment, and greatly improves the application performance of PBO fiber.
