NOVELTY - Preparing chitosan gel electrolyte grafted with nano particles comprises (i) adding potassium hydroxide aqueous solution into 30 wt.% of 3-silicone-hydroxy-1-propyl-sulfonic acid aqueous solution, raising temperature for dehydration and condensation reaction for 1-2 hours, finally obtaining solid 3-silicone-hydroxy-1-propylsulfonic acid potassium, taking activated nano material, ultrasonically dispersing in methanol for 10-20 minutes under stirring state, adding the prepared 3-silicone-hydroxy-1-propylsulfonic acid potassium, reflux reacting to obtain product modified nano particles, (ii) adding chitosan and isopropanol into the three-mouth flask, stirring, dissolving active reagent containing quaternary ammonium group in methanol, then pouring active reagent containing quaternary ammonium group and the modified nanoparticles into the chitosan solution, reacting, injecting obtained mixture into mold to form gel, soaking in methanol, and removing unreacted monomer. USE - The chitosan gel electrolyte grafted with nano particles are useful for electrolyte material of super capacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: uses active nano-material, which can provide ion transmission channel of the electrolyte, and improves mechanical performance of the gel electrolyte, and because of covalent bond graft, so the dispersibility and stability of the nano-material is good as electrolyte material of the super capacitor. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing chitosan gel electrolyte grafted with nano particles comprises (i) adding potassium hydroxide aqueous solution into 30 wt.% of 3-silicone-hydroxy-1-propyl-sulfonic acid aqueous solution to adjust the pH value to 6-8, raising the temperature to 110-150degreesC for dehydration and condensation reaction for 1-2 hours, finally obtaining solid 3-silicone-hydroxy-1-propylsulfonic acid potassium dissolved in methanol, taking 30 wt.% activated nano material, ultrasonically dispersing in methanol for 10-20 minutes under stirring state, adding the prepared 3-silicone-hydroxy-1-propylsulfonic acid potassium, reflux reacting at 50-90degreesC for 6-8 hours to obtain product modified nano particles, washing using methanol, where proportion of activated nano material and 3-silicone-hydroxy-1-propylsulfonic acid potassium solution is (1.7-2) g:(10-15) ml, (ii) adding chitosan and isopropanol into the three-mouth flask according to ratio of (1-3) g: (40-115) ml, raising the temperature to 60-75degreesC, continuously stirring, dissolving the active reagent containing quaternary ammonium group in methanol, where the ratio of active agent containing quaternary ammonium group and methanol is (3.5-13.5) g:(12-45) ml, stirring uniformly, then pouring active reagent containing quaternary ammonium group and the modified nanoparticles prepared in step (i) into the chitosan solution from the seal of three-mouth flask, the mass ratio of modified nano-particle, active agent containing quaternary ammonium group and chitosan is (1.7-2):(3.5-4.5):1, raising the temperature to 80-90degreesC, reacting for 20-24 hours, injecting the obtained mixture into the mold to form gel, soaking the gel in methanol for 0.5-1 hour, and removing the unreacted monomer to obtain chitosan gel electrolyte grafted with nanoparticles. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for chitosan gel electrolyte grafted with nano particles, prepared by above method.
