NOVELTY - Flame retardant and environmentally-friendly polyethylene terephthalate plastic, comprises 100-150 pts. wt. polyethylene terephthalate substrate, 10-20 pts. wt. acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin, 6-10 pts. wt. modified boron nitride, 5-10 pts. wt. surfactant, 10-18 pts. wt. composite flame retardant, 3-6 pts. wt. stabilizer, and 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. auxiliary agent. USE - The flame-retardant and environmentally-friendly polyethylene terephthalate plastic is useful in various fire and flame retardant occasions including electrical enclosures and auto parts. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes base material of environment-friendly polyester; does not use halogen-containing flame retardant; is simple and easy to operate; avoids the modification operation at the molecular level of the flame retardant; reduces process costs; and improves the anti-droplet effect of polyethylene terephthalate material. The plastic: has excellent mechanical properties, excellent thermal stability, and wide range of market benefits and social benefits. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDNT CLAIM is also included for preparing flame-retardant and environmentally-friendly polyethylene terephthalate plastic, comprising (i) preparing modified boron nitride, (ii) preparing composite flame retardant, and (iii) heating and melting polyethylene terephthalate substrate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin, then adding remaining raw materials and placing in high-speed mixer for mixing, and placing in a twin-screw extruder for extruding and granulating to obtain final product.
