▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A composite electrode material comprises capsules (12), each comprising graphene, reduced graphene oxide and/or graphene oxide, and at least one active material particle (14) provided inside each capsule. The active material particles comprise an electrochemically active core and a buffer layer surrounding the core and comprising silicon oxide and/or lithium silicate. USE - Composite material for electrode (claimed) for electrochemical cells e.g. lithium ion cell. Uses include but are not limited to electronics, wearable computing devices, military mobile equipment, satellite communication, spacecraft devices, electric vehicles, electric vehicles, renewable power plants, and stationary electric grids. ADVANTAGE - The composite electrode material provides battery having high capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (i) electrode comprising capsules comprising graphene, reduced graphene oxide and/or graphene oxide, active material particles provided inside the capsules, and comprising silicon particles surrounded by a buffer layer comprising oxide and/or silicate, and a binder; and (ii) formation of anode active material, which involves heating crystalline silicon particles in an inert atmosphere at 700-900degrees Celsius, heating the particles in an oxidizing atmosphere to form oxidized particles having silicon oxide layer surrounding crystalline silicon core, and cooling. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a cross-sectional view of structure of particles of composite electrode material.
