NOVELTY - Preparing carbon nano material modifier comprises (i) adding 3-(trimethoxysilylpropyl)dimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride (DC5700) grafted graphene into a three-necked flask containing a mixed solution of methanol and deionized water, and ultrasonically dispersing to obtain reduced graphene oxide (RGO)-DC5700 dispersion; (ii) ading nonylphenol ethoxylate-10 aqueous solution into the RGO-DC5700 dispersion, stirring reaction under constant temperature in water bath, and waiting until the reaction is completed to obtain the reaction product; and (iii) subjecting reaction product to a dialysis treatment through a dialysis membrane and drying under vacuum. USE - The carbon nano material modifier is used in asphalt. ADVANTAGE - The method of modified asphalt has temperature sensitivity, high temperature stability, and storage stability. The modified asphalt has excellent anti-aging properties, while reducing the requirements of the matrix asphalt and mixing equipment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing a carbon nano material modified asphalt, comprising (a) placing the base asphalt in a container, baking container so that the base asphalt melts, stirring and evaporating moisture in the base asphalt; (b) taking the carbon nano material modifier, adding into the container and stirring so that the carbon nano material modifier is completely immersed in the matrix asphalt to obtain mixture; and (c) stirring mixture by a mechanical stirrer and subjecting shearing at constant temperature.
