NOVELTY - Preparing porous graphene aerogel involves dissolving graphene oxide in de-ionized water into 0.1-0.5 wt.% solution, adding polyethylene glycol into solution, where mass ratio of graphene oxide and polyethylene glycol is 5:1-5:5, mixing uniformly the obtained mixed solution, reacting for 10-18 hours at 150-200 degrees C to obtain graphene hydrogel, immersing the obtain graphene hydrogel in deionized water to washing, putting in vacuum freeze drier at (-)50 degrees C and 20 Pascal, and freezing and drying for 24-48 hours to obtain graphene aerogel. USE - Method for preparing porous graphene aerogel. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare porous graphene aerogel which is simple, cost effective, and does not use toxic solvent and is eco-friendly. It has higher specific surface area and good adsorption performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing porous graphene aerogel involves dissolving graphene oxide in de-ionized water into 0.1-0.5 wt.% solution, adding polyethylene glycol into solution, where mass ratio of graphene oxide and polyethylene glycol is 5:1-5:5, mixing uniformly the obtained mixed solution, reacting for 10-18 hours at 150-200 degrees C to obtain graphene hydrogel, immersing the obtain graphene hydrogel in deionized water to washing, putting in vacuum freeze drier at (-)50 degrees C and 20 Pascal, freezing and drying for 24-48 hours to obtain graphene aerogel, dispersing the obtained graphene aerogel in deionized water, making mass concentration to 1-5 gram per liter under sealed condition, introducing nitrous oxide in solution saturated for irradiation treatment, where irradiation dose is 200-500 kilo gray, using deionized water cleaning radiation product to remove unreacted ion by putting it into vacuum freeze drier at (-)50 degrees C and 20 Pascal, freezing and drying for 24-48 hours to obtain solid black sponge which is porous graphene aerogel material.
