NOVELTY - Development and evaluation of navel graphene oxide-iridium oxide sensor includes functioning in any orientation in concrete, measures the stable, reliable and comparable data on electrochemical corrosion behavior of steel in concrete structures. USE - Development and evaluation of navel graphene oxide-iridium oxide sensor for corrosion monitoring of steel structures in alkaline medium. ADVANTAGE - The sensor provides real time electrochemical corrosion monitoring of embedded steel which can be helpful to take preventive measures, is thermally stable and shown higher thermal temperature coefficient, also provides perfect electrochemical stability in simulated medium and better micro reversibility characteristic in simulated concrete medium, and capable of delivering valid corrosion data with regard to steel or any metals exposed in medium and any orientation (all claimed).
