NOVELTY - Cathode active material comprises a porous substrate and selenium sulfide supported in pores of the porous substrate. The porous substrate has a regular pore arrangement. USE - Cathode active material for lithium-selenium sulfide secondary battery. ADVANTAGE - The cathode active material has large capacity and high output lithium secondary battery, increases operating voltage of the lithium secondary battery is the most efficient and easy method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for following: (1) a method for producing a cathode active material for a lithium-selenium sulfide secondary battery, which involves mixing and dispersing selenium sulfide and a porous substrate and heating the dispersion at 140-200 degrees C; (2) a cathode active material for a lithium-selenium sulfide secondary battery; (3) a positive electrode for a lithium-selenium sulfide secondary battery, which comprises positive electrode active material for a lithium-selenium sulfide secondary battery; and (4) a lithium-selenium sulfide secondary battery, which comprises positive electrode for a lithium-selenium sulfide secondary battery.
