NOVELTY - Nano-barium hydroxide/graphene nanocomposite material comprises 1-3 wt.% graphene, and barium hydroxide (remaining amount). USE - Used as nano-barium hydroxide/graphene nanocomposite material. ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite material has simple preparation method and excellent mechanical properties; improves strength of cultural relics; and is suitable for mass production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing nano-barium hydroxide/graphene nanocomposite material comprising (i) adding graphite powder into concentrated sulfuric acid and placing in ice-water bath and stirring, adding potassium permanganate and sodium nitrate into concentrated sulfuric acid, continue stirring in ice water bath for 30 minutes, raising temperature to 30-50 degrees C, continue stirring until the solution is viscous, then adding deionized water, raising temperature to 80-90 degrees C, continue stirring for 2-5 hours, adding hydrogen peroxide into solution, cooling to room temperature, centrifugating at 6000-8000 revolution per minute for 5-20 minutes, washing until solution pH is neutral to obtain graphene oxide, freeze-drying for 24 hours to obtain graphene oxide powder, where mass ratio between graphite powder, concentrated sulfuric acid, potassium permanganate, sodium nitrate, deionized water and hydrogen peroxide is 0.5:23:3:0.5:100:5, and (ii) mixing barium hydroxide octahydrate and graphene oxide with anhydrous ethanol, placing in closed container filled with nitrogen, heating and stirring at 180-200 degrees , naturally cooling to room temperature for 2-6 hours, insulating, drying cooled solution in vacuum oven at 30-50 degrees for 6-12 hours to obtain nano-barium hydroxide/ graphene nanocomposite, where mass ratio between barium hydroxide octahydrate, graphene oxide and absolute ethanol is 1:62.5-200:100.
