NOVELTY - Preparing double-layer carbon based heat-conducting thin film, comprises (i) either subjecting graphene oxide solution to hydrothermal reduction reaction, and ball milling; or subjecting graphite solution to mechanical stripping to obtain graphene based slurry, and (ii) coating the graphene based slurry on graphite paper. USE - The method is useful for preparing double-layer carbon based heat-conducting thin film. ADVANTAGE - The thin film: maintains excellent mechanical properties of graphite paper; improves heat dissipation capacity by 30% compared with graphite paper; realizes heat conducting ability by more than 400 W m(-1)k(-1). The method: has simple process; and is suitable for large scale industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) double-layer carbon based heat-conducting thin film obtained by above mentioned method; and (2) double-layer carbon based heat-conducting thin film, comprising graphite paper and graphene layer on graphite paper, where the graphene layer optionally includes carbon nanotube, diamond, silicon carbide, silicon, gold, silver, copper, aluminum and/or other materials.
