▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - The graphene nano-ribbon array comprises a semiconductor substrate that is provided with a facet. Multiple graphene nano-ribbons are provided on the facet of the semiconductor substrate. The graphene nano-ribbons are provided with an armchair crystallographic direction of graphene running the way along the long axes and an armchair configuration along the edges. The semiconductor substrate includes a germanium substrate. The long axes of the graphene nano-ribbons are oriented along a single direction of the semiconductor substrate. USE - Graphene nano-ribbon array for electronic and photonic devices. ADVANTAGE - The performance is enhanced in nano-electronics, spintronics, opto-electronics, plasmonic waveguiding, photodetection, solar energy conversion, molecular sensing and catalysis. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for growing graphene nano-ribbons. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of a graphene nano-ribbon array.
