NOVELTY - Permeable reactive barrier comprises (a) a permeable reaction wall to selectively remove organic substance, (b) an oxidizing agents to generate active radicals for performing analogous Fenton treatment of organic substance, and (c) a reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanosynthetic material which is a synthetic material of rGO and metal nanoparticles, and serves as a catalyst for generating active radicals. USE - The permeable reactive barrier is useful for removing pollutants (claimed) in polluted groundwater. ADVANTAGE - The permeable reactive barrier selectively removes pollutants in a cost-effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for removing pollutants.
