NOVELTY - Conductive material (M1) comprises: a carbon substance having at least one dimension of less than or equal to 200 nm, where the carbon substance comprises a graphene which is a single-layered graphene (11) or a multilayered graphene (12), a part of carbon atoms constitutes the graphene being substituted with a nitrogen atom; and a metallic substance mixed with and/or laminated to the carbon substance, where the metallic substance comprises at least one of a metallic particle and a metallic wire. USE - The conductive material is useful in an electric device (claimed), a solar cell element, an LCD and a light control device. ADVANTAGE - The conductive material has high transparency, and exhibits stability, high conductivity, improved mechanical strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a conductive material (M2) which is transparent, comprising a carbon substance having the graphene, and a metallic substance laminated to the carbon substance, where the metallic substance comprises a metallic wire of which diameter is less than or equal to 200 nm; and (2) an electric device, comprising a pair of electrodes, and a functional layer sandwiched between the electrodes, where one of the pair of electrodes is a transparent electrode made from a conductive material (M1).
