NOVELTY - A graphene and titanium dioxide based biomedical coating comprises a single layer graphene and a titanium dioxide nano-dots, where the single layer graphene attached to the surface of the substrate and the titanium dioxide nano dots uniformly distributed on the surface of the graphene, the thickness of the single-layer graphene is 0.3-0.4 nm, the size of the titanium dioxide nano-dots is 50-250 nm and the nano-dots of titanium dioxide is 30-80% of the surface of substrate. USE - Graphene and titanium dioxide based biomedical coating. ADVANTAGE - The graphene and titanium dioxide based biomedical coating has enhanced biocompatibility and adhesion, and is adjustable, and can be prepared in simple and easy manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing biomedical coating, which involves spin-coating a polymethyl methacrylate solution at 3000-4000 rpm into the surface of the single-layer graphene/copper sheet for 30-50 seconds, etching the copper sheet in a ammonium persulfate solution at room temperature for 6-24 hours, rinsing the graphene/ polymethyl methacrylate film with deionized water, transferring to the surface of the acid-washed substrate, and drying naturally, removing the polymethyl methacrylate by acetone at 60-80 degrees C, dissolving for 1-5 minutes, dip-coating the titanium dioxide onto the graphene/substrate graphene surface and drying naturally for 1-3 days, or drying at 40-100 degrees C for 1-12 hours to form titanium dioxide nanodots on the surface of graphene.
