NOVELTY - The preparation method of metal organic framework/graphene adsorption material involves (i) adding expandable flake graphite to concentrated sulfuric acid solution, stirring and dispersing, adding fuming nitric acid, stirring in an ice bath, diluting with water, cooling, microwave drying to obtain expanded graphite, adding expanded graphite to concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring and dispersing uniformly, adding potassium persulfate and phosphorus pentoxide, stirring, diluting with water, cooling, filtering, washing, and drying to obtain preoxidized graphite. USE - Preparation of metal organic framework/graphene adsorption material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables the preparation of metal organic framework/graphene adsorption material having high mechanical strength, porosity, and thermal stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of metal organic framework/graphene adsorption material involves (i) adding expandable flake graphite to concentrated sulfuric acid solution, stirring and dispersing, adding fuming nitric acid, where the ratio of concentrated sulfuric acid and fuming nitric acid is 5:1-5:2, stirring in an ice bath for 24 hours, diluting with water, cooling, microwave drying for 12-24 hours to obtain expanded graphite, adding expanded graphite to concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring and dispersing uniformly, adding potassium persulfate and phosphorus pentoxide, where the ratio of expanded graphite, potassium persulfate, and phosphorus pentoxide is 1:2:1:2, stirring, diluting with water, cooling, filtering, washing, drying at room temperature to obtain preoxidized graphite, (ii) dispersing preoxidized graphite in concentrated sulfuric acid, adding potassium permanganate, where the ratio of preoxidized graphite and potassium permanganate is 1:2-1:5, stirring, diluting, leaving to stand, draining supernatant, centrifuging, adjusting pH to 6 to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, (iii) dissolving organic ligands and metal salts in deionized water, stirring and dispersing to obtain solution (a), dissolving graphene oxide dispersion in dimethylformamide and/or dimethylacetamide to obtain solution (b), mixing solution (a), and solution (b) in a reaction vessel, reacting at 80-180 degrees C for 12-24 hours to obtain metal organic framework/graphene gel. The ratio of organic ligand, metal salt, and graphene oxide is 7-14:12-36:50. The reaction solvent in step (iii) is ethanol and/or methanol.
