USE - The epoxy resin composite material is useful in adhesive, coating, electronic packaging and composite material manufacturing field, preferably aerospace industry development. ADVANTAGE - The epoxy resin composite: uses modified graphene oxide as raw material, and grafts organic molecular chains on the surface of graphene oxide, organic molecular chains belong to multi-element synergistic flame retardant components, play a synergistic flame retardant effect in the condensed phase and gas phase, so that the epoxy resin has good flame retardancy; organic molecular chain itself has good compatibility with the matrix, and benzene ring contained on it has π-π interaction with the benzene ring in the epoxy resin, which improves interfacial compatibility between graphene oxide and epoxy resin matrix, and mechanical properties and flame retardancy of composite materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Epoxy resin composite comprises 100 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 4-7 pts. wt. modified graphene oxide, 18-25 pts. wt. curing agent, and 9-12 pts. wt. accelerator; where modified graphene oxide is obtained by (i) adding ethyl phenylphosphonate and toluene into four-necked flask equipped with a mechanical stirring device and a condenser, and stirring evenly, adding phosphorus pentasulfide, feed nitrogen and raise the temperature to 55°C and stir for 2 hours, after the end, the temperature drops to 40°C, adding phosphorus pentasulfide again, introducing nitrogen to react for 15 hours, stop heating, cooling to room temperature, removing solvent by rotary evaporation, and purify to obtain modified product, (ii) mixing graphene oxide and DMF, sonicating at room temperature for 10 minutes, then transferring the mixture to a three-necked flask, adding 4-penten-1-amine to system, and continue stirring for 1 hour, then adding EDC-hydrochloric acid, and the three-necked flask was transferred to a 60°C water bath to continue stirring for 6 hours, centrifuging, and washing with absolute ethanol 4-5 times to remove unreacted substances, finally, placing the product into 50°C vacuum ovens and drying to constant weight to obtain grafted graphene, and (iii) mixing grafted graphene and DMF, subjecting to ultrasonicate under room temperature for 10 minutes, and then transferring the mixed solution to four-necked flask equipped with a mechanical stirrer, condenser, and nitrogen inlet and outlet, adding modified substance, blow in nitrogen and raise the temperature to 80°C to stir the reaction for 6 hours, cooling to room temperature and centrifuging, and washing with absolute ethanol 4-5 times to remove unreacted substances, and finally, placing the product into vacuum oven at 50°C to dry to constant weight to obtain modified graphene oxide. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for processing epoxy resin composite material, comprising mixing epoxy resin and the curing agent, heating in water bath at 70°C, stirring magnetically at 450 revolutions/minute for 1 hour, then stop stirring, adding modified graphene oxide, and continue stirring for 2 hours, then adding the accelerator, heating in a water bath at 60°C, stirring magnetically at 500 revolutions/minute for 30 minutes, and then ultrasonically disperse for 30 minutes, placing the mixed solution after ultrasonic dispersion into vacuum drying oven, heating and vacuum degassing at 70°C for 2 hours, and pour the mixed solution into a polytetrafluoroethylene mold, placing it into a drying oven for gradient heating and curing, after the curing is completed, naturally cooling to room temperature to obtain an epoxy resin composite material.
