NOVELTY - Amphiphilic surfactant comprises nano graphene oxide grafted with a long alkyl chain, where its structure is that one side of the nano graphene oxide is grafted with a long alkyl chain. USE - The amphiphilic surfactant is used in an eluent, which is used for the remediation of petroleum contaminated soil (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The amphiphilic surfactant has excellent amphiphilic properties, enters the middle of the soil and petroleum hydrocarbons, reduces the adsorption of petroleum hydrocarbons and soil, thus achieving better solubilizing effect, is environmentally-friendly and easy to degrade, and does not cause secondary environmental pollution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) an eluent comprising the amphiphilic surfactant, sodium salt, potassium salt and water; and (2) the use of the eluent for remediating petroleum contaminated soil.
